Pressure on Julian Nagelsmann at Bayern Munich after recent loss

Bayern Munich’s domination in the Bundesliga seems to be under immense threat now. They have been in horrific form by their standards in the German league especially after the FIFA World Cup, where they have drawn three games in a row to opponents below the top four position and have now lost to Borussia Monchengladbach, making the title chase very interesting.

Bayern were well clear of their competitors in the title chase like they always are, with a clear cut gap between them and the chasing pack like Union Berlin and Borussia Dortmund. However, now, all these three clubs are level on points and this could turn out to be the closest title race in Germany in many years. Not to forget, since Jurgen Klopp’s Dortmund won the title in 2011-12, no other team has managed to win the league since then, besides Bayern. Bet on all matches involving Bayern Munich on M88.

This puts the current manager Julian Nagelsmann under severe pressure. He also had an incident during the match against Monchengladbach where he went berserk against the referee Tbias Welz for some of the decisions that were given on Saturday. The German The German soccer federation has opened a case against the young German manager, leaving him in trouble of suspension.

“Is he messing me around or what?” Julian Nagelsmann reportedly roared on his way, before he knocked on the officials’ door. Kicker magazine reported Nagelsmann spent about a minute in the changing room, then emerged just as angry when he came out. “My god, my god, a soft-rinsed pack!” Nagelsmann said.

Once the heat had settled in, Nagelsmann came out to apologise for his behavior. This outburst could see the German federation take some action, especially for his choice of words. This was a result of his defender Dayot Upamecano getting a straight red card very early on in the match, which clearly didn’t sit well with the 35-year-old. It seemed like a light touch on the opponent’s shoulder during a breakaway. Another reason which put Nagelsmann in the news was his decision to take off skipper Thomas Muller to compensate for Upamecano’s red. Muller is said to be upset over Nagelsmann’s decision to sack his friend and Manuel Neuer’s goal-keeping coach, Toni Tapalovic.

Amidst all the controversies, they managed to pick up a massive 1-0 win in the Champions League against PSG in Paris and will host Union Berlin in one of the biggest matches of their season. You can follow the Bayern Munich matches live on M88 Football.
